Sykes House Farm was founded in the late 60s by Martin Smith and his father. Back then we were livestock farmers, predominantly as pig breeders, but with a couple of hundred Hereford grazing cattle too. The UK farming industry has faced many tough challenges over the years, but through careful diversification, the farm gradually established itself as one of the best known catering butchers in Yorkshire.
Just like our father and his father, our first priority is quality – both in terms of the products we supply and the service we provide. But we are determined not to rest on those laurels and we are constantly improving the factory and facilities. This investment means we can keep step with the modern world while offering competitive prices and unbeatable customer support.
We pride ourselves on our Dry Aged Beef, hung for a minimum of 35 days, with its superb marbling for flavour and melt in the mouth tenderness.
It is our mission to ensure that the fantastic level of produce we source and supply to chefs in dining establishments is available to families at home. Our shop is committed to providing restaurant quality meat to your door as well as from our onsite butchers shop.
